Stanley No.5 Woodworking Jack Plane This plane was manufactured between 1910 and 1918. It is 14" long and has a 2" wide cutter. The cast iron plane body is not chipped or cracked and the interior black Japanning is approximately 80%. The frog adjustment screw, cutter depth adjustment knob and blade lateral adjustment lever all work as they should. The later replacement Stanley blade and the chip breaker show evidence of pitting away from the cutting edge. The lever cap shows a nice patina and is not chipped. The front (low) knob shows wear but is not cracked. The rear handle horn was broken off but reshaped and is comfortable in use. This clean plane has years of great use remaining and will function as a good all around plane in your workshop. Good luck bidding. We are happy to combine shipping. Please see our other items !
