You are bidding on a very nice, antique, primitive, wood/wooden, egg carrier/box/crate that measures 6 3/8" x 8 1/4" x 2 3/4". It was made by STAR EGG CARRIERS and TRAYS from Rochester, New York and carries patent dates of 1903, 1905, and 1906. It is in excellent, all original condition with no splits or chips; the sliding, metal, carrying bar works as it should. It is finger-jointed on all four corners and remains a very sturdy carrier. The cardboard insert is in pretty good shape, showing expected wear. All four sides of the box are marked; the only side not pictured for you says, "This Starr egg carrier is installed by to give you better service. If accidentally left, please hand to driver." This is a great primitive, displaying wonderful color! I will accept a money order, personal check (7-10 business days to clear), or Paypal. Emails are always welcome.
