The hardware is all original. It has its original Leather straps and Handles which is rare to have they are usually missing. It has a Excelsior Lock with 2 Excelsior keys.The lock kind of locks and unlocks it is not fully flush to the lock plate.It locks but not fully securely. This is from someone prying it open.The original leather straps are in great shape and addes more security. It has great working latches (Hasps) that opens closes securely. It has 4 oak slats on the top, 2 on the front, 2 on the back & sides. The inside & Out was cleaned, No odors ready to use, the bottom is clean and it has 4 bottom rollers to help move with ease.3 strong strap hinges. It is solid and strong a well built trunk.
