Antique sterling flatware, S. Kirk and Son, Repousse

This is a 49 piece antique flatware set. It is stamped "S. Kirk and Son Sterling". It is believed to date somew between 1846-1861 or 1868-1890. (The firm's name was changed to Samuel Kirk and Son in 1846, and then in 1861, the firm's name was changed to Samuel Kirk and Sons. In 1868, it was changed back to Samuel Kirk and Son until 1890, when it was changed to Samuel Kirk and Son Company). This company is now called The Kirk Steiff Company, and this particular pattern in still available by Kirk-Steiff, and is called "Repousse". Repousse means that the design is pushed out of the silver rather than engraved into it. T are 8 dinner knives, 8 small hors' doeuvres or butter knives, 8 salad forks, 8 dinner forks, 8 spoons, and 9 serving pieces. Four of the spoons have a monogrammed initial engraved on the back. All the pieces are stamped with "S. Kirk and Son" and "sterling", and all the pieces are in very good shape. The storage case is a dark wood with a light green felt material lining it. Someone did respond to this listing and said they believe the silverware may date from 1932-1961. As I said, I am not an appraiser or antique dealer, and I just did a few mintues of internet research to come up with my dating. I certainly don't want to mislead anyone though. Thanks!
