THEODORE B. STARR - New York, NYActive 1900-1924 and succeeded by Reed & BartonThe bottom is marked Sterling 1035 and has the Theodore B. Starr New York mark. This nice old silver shaker is engraved: Frederick Pruyn from Robert Lansing Pruyn (a respected old family in NY) . This is a 3 piece item, a cap (can be used for measuring), top-which has the screening holes for pouting, and the base mixer. It dates back to the early 1900's, and does show signs of being used over the years-there are a few small dents as if it was dropped (too many cocktails?), but all 3 pieces fit together beautifully. Please note: Priority Mail is automatically insured for $50.00. Insurance coverage above that will cost additional. Thank you.The assembled shaker stands just about 9 1/2 inches tall. The top is 2" high and just over 1" across the opening. The base is 5 1/4" high and almost 3 1/2 " across the opening at the widest part.
