Antique sterling silver Wishbone pin made in Ireland. The pin is 1 in. long and includes rhinestones and 3 connemara marbles to accent the clover. This piece includes the Wishbone history on the back of the display card. This verse reads: "A thousand years before St. Patrick the Irish Druids deep in the Oak Forest broke the wishbone to see into the future and tell whether a man would be lucky "in love or war or in the contests of skill or chance". If luck was promised him, he wore the silver wishbone." Thanks for looking at this special Irish souvenir!
