This is a rare collectable figurine of a Llama packing Salt & Pepper Shakers. This fine piece of art is marked 925 which makes it Sterling Silver. As you can see by the photo's it is tarnished but should clean up very nice, I will leave that to it's new owner. The shakers show some wear but the Llama itself appears to be in great shape. All pieces are marked 925, meaning the purity of the silver it is made of. This fine item was picked up at an estate sale and is believed to be very old. The Llama is 5 inches tall at the ears, and is 3.75 inches long. It weighs in at 13.2 ounces. Consider the weight of the silver alone. The worldwide standard for Silver is -- 800=German or Coin Silver -- 900-950 being considered Sterling, 925= The Current Standard for Sterling.
