Antique Sterling Silver cased pocket watch with Birmingham hallmarks for 1900 and makers mark AB. Dial is stamped J G Graves Waltham Mass and the movement is stamped 'American Watch Co Waltham Mass' An American watch in an English Silver Case! Unengraved cartouche to the back and a perspex? crystal - a replacement? Good overall used condition - hinges are good; hallmarks to fob ring and attachment are worn and the keyhole to the inner back looks to have been roughly made. Watch, when wound and left on a shelf, goes for approx 26 hours before needing rewound - dont know a lot about watches but suspect it would benefit greatly from a good overhaul service. Comes with winding key. Measures 2.2 inches in diameter and weighs approx 5 1/4 Oz. Please see my other items for more interesting bits and bobs.
