Antique Sterling Silver Tea Strainer in Tea Pot Form with Sterling Under Plate Listed for this no reserve auction is an adorable tea stainer and matching plate. The 10 sided strainer measures roughly 1" tall and is about 1 1/4" across the bottom. The plate is about 2 1/8" in diameter. The combined set weighs about 1 ounce. The chain and finger loop measure 3" long. The base of the strainer is marked "Sterling", "Amcraft" and "Attleboro Mass.". The plate is not marked. The piece is in excellent condition. T are no dents, dings, or other imperfections. The hinge on the lid is strong and the lid closes tightly. The plate is in equally nice condition. This is quite a nice set. I've seen a number of the strainers, but none of them had the matching, original under plate. What a nice gift or addition to any tea strainer or sterling collection.
