Lot of 4 - lovely sterling silver teaspoons from Peru! SIZE: These sweet spoons are 5 1/2" long. The bowl is 1 3/4" by 1 1/4". MARKINGS: The back of the handles read "ESTERLINA 9.25 PERU" and have a makers mark - a S inside a C.These marks are visible in the photo above. "Esterlina" is "sterling" in Spanish.The handles feature a flower pattern that extends about 1/3 of the way down the handle. The bowls have a flat edge. It appears that the bowls were cast as a separate piece and attached to the handle during manufacture.They are old and as such, t is some surface scratching and light wear on the bowl and handle. The curve of the handle of one spoon, the right-most in the photo above, is slightly flattened. You can in the photo how that spoon doesn't lie as straight as the other three. Otherwise, they are lovely pieces overall and in nice condition.Please email with any questions prior to bidding.Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
