A very high quality rare sterlingsilver golf spoon. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1949 with the maker’s marksbeing V&S for Vaughton and Sons. It has been unusually designed having its handle in the form of a Devil holding a golf club which forms into a trident with golf balls between the tines – most likely symbolising the temptation to play. It is in perfect condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures 4.25 inches (10.8cms) long and weighs 15 grams. A super quality rare example.
