Neat old Coffee Maker the likes of which I have never seen before I acquired this one! Marked "The Sternau Coffee Machine" 3 1/2 PINTS on bottom of the base and dated Nov. 22, 1904 and STERNAU & CO. Pat. Feb. 17, 1901. Other patent pending on the bottom of the sterno holder. I tried to find another like it on the internet to make sure it was all t, but, no luck. It appears to be complete with nothing broken or missing that I can tell. It looks like it will polish up to be a real thing of beauty and a wonderful conversation piece! The glass grounds holder is even marked "The Sternau Coffee Machine" around the top edge. This section shows no chips, cracks or repairs either. Must have been a very sturdy piece!I am not sure what kind of metal this is made of, but, it looks like maybe chrome to me... I did not attempt to polish this item - only washed it in warm soapy water. Low opening, no reserve! Winning bidder to pay shipping costs. Payment must be received within 7 days of auction end. I am not an expert, so please ask if you need more photos. Thanks for your interest! Good Luck and Happy Bidding!
