Purchased at an estate sale is this antique stoneware jug that has a beige colored glaze with a dark brown albany slip glaze over it. The brown glaze has worn off the bottom half. This jug measures 10 3/4 inches tall and is 8 inches in diameter at the base. The front of the jug is impressed BANGOR MAINE. This jug is in good condition with no chips or cracks. Nice old New England jug for any stoneware collection. I have several stoneware items listed this week. Please check out my other auctions for quality vintage art prints, pottery, majolica and stoneware. I combine shipping costs on most items. Please ask questions before bidding. Please do not bid unless you intend to purchase within 10 days of close of auction. Most of my items are used and some could use a good cleaning.
