About Us: I am operating these auctions for an older couple (plus a few of their friends) that have traveled and collected all over the world for more than 50 years. They are now downsizing and have a lifetimes worth of items that they have asked me to list. All pieces have been purchased from private collectors, auctions, galleries and antique shops, none are new and all can be expected to show signs of age and use. They have amassed a fair bit of knowledge over the years, but they are collectors, not professionals. The information offered on each piece is a combination of their research and what they were told when the item was purchased. I still feel like a new eBay seller and I’ve made mistakes, either no one has noticed or they are too kind to say anything. I’m constantly improving and I thank-you for your patience. Unless otherwise stated, documentation and provenance are not available on most pieces. We offer all of the available information and background that we have on each piece in our descriptions. We are certain enough of the authenticity and value of the items offered for auction that we back it up with a No-Questions-Asked 7 Day Return Policy . In response to the numerous people who seem to have a private interest in this collection. I’ve been hired to run these auctions for this couple and their friends who have collected all their lives. They are very private people and do not wish to meet the public. They have no problems selling items from their collection. They have just decided to give eBay buyers the first opportunity… why? They think its fun having their own private auction, for now and they feel auctions seem to be fair for all participants. They are not interested in offers or sales on the side and it is against eBay policy. They may or may not choose to use a 2 nd Chance Offer when the winning bidder defaults for some reason, because it is within the auction format. They may or may not re-list an item on eBay, anything not re-listed will return to their collection until they are ready to begin sending things to major auction houses for sale.
