You are bidding on an original and complete Antique Stromberg Carlson Hand Crank Wall Phone c1894. It has a beautiful solid oak wood cabinet, nice color & lovely grain. all original parts and wiring. T is the original paper schematic diagram card on the back of the door, says from the Canadian Telephones & Supplies Limited. Toronto, Canada. It shows the last time the phone was serviced and inspected ( feb 29,1928 ), this paper lable also has the guarantee on it. The phone has a lot of markings, Made by Stromberg Carlson Telephone MFG Co. Rochester, New York. U.S.A. 8B-4 & C-8B is on the hand held ear piece both ends. Inside on the magneto it says PATENTED IN U.S.A. july 17,1894. 47A. On the inside the 3 coils are marked Can. Ind. Tel. Co. Toronto, Ont. Coil no 10 & 800 OHMS. On the mouth piece says Northern Electric Co Limited, the mouth piece, ear piece and crank handle are all made of Bakelite. The mouth piece has a hairline crack and the hand crank has a chip on it. The cord is original cloth covered, and in great condition. On the back of the phone t is a paper tag partially torn off, I can see ---ty Shoppe LTD. Franklin, Michigan. Hang this old oak crank phone on the wall and it gets a lot of attention.
