You are bidding on an Antique Flame Mahogany Chippendale Vanity Dresser Desk Writing Table. This piece is a RARE FIND because of its size, age and beauty and dates back to the earlier part of the 1900s Circa 1930 and was VERY WELL made and labeled by John Stuart Furniture Co who has made some of the HIGHEST quality case goods the market had to offer prior to 1950. It has 7 drawers which are all doweled and dovetailed together with brass pull handles that have a floral embroidery pattern etched into the brass itself. It sits on beautifully curved Queen Anne cabriole legs with carved ball and claw feet. The sides have double bamboo columns with scallop carved trim work going throughout the edges. It was made with mahogany and oak secondary woods which is of the finest quality. It has a beautiful and exotic naturally figured wood grain pattern as you can see in the pictures. This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING that is made today and all wood construction but Please understand that this is an antique so it has some minor imperfections on it with its age but overall its in excellent shape.
