Door Plates : is a quality antique reproduction of the Eastlake style "Oriental" door plates. This design was originally created by Branford in 1880. These are solid brass door plates and made to last longer than a lifetime. They measure 5-1/8" tall by 1-1/4" wide . The door spindle center is 2" from the keyhole circle center. The screw holes are 4-5/8" apart on center. These are also unlacqured brass. Meaning, that the t is no clear-coat over the natural brass so it is will be allowed to go through the patina process as hardware did 100 years ago. Door Knobs : This set comes with quality, brand new, Hickory Hardware brand glass knobs. These knobs are glass with a polished plated brass rim. The knobs also come with a spindle that fits in the common mortise lock door set. The spindle measures 3-9/16" long (just over 3.5") and 1-4" thick. These are great quality.
