I am not an expert in porcelain so I shall describe this handsome sugar bowl as accurately as I can; if anyone could tell me any more about it I would really appreciate the information. This sugar bowl measures 14 cm in height and 15.5 cm in length. It is completely hand painted with stylised flowers foliage in red, and gold over Pompadour pink bands with small pea green highlights; this is all in fresh condition with just a little rubbing to the gilding on the handles. I think that it probably dates to about 1820 and I think that it may be Coalport or Spode; this is just speculation based on handling similar items, I may well be mistaken. There is a small hairline crack to the inside which does not show on the outside. I think that the lid may be restored or repainted, the gilding does not look quite as bright, it is very hard to spot. I shall answer any questions as quickly as possible. I would love to hear from anyone who has a knowledge of this teapot because I really like it and think that it is a fantastic thing. I have listed three other pieces from the same tea set, so please take a look at these also. I am happy to combine postage.
