Up for auction is a very long, antique hand forged, wrought iron sword knife. This item was purchased estate auction in the Piedmont of Virginia in 1984 w t were many items from the early and mid 1800's. This authentic mid 19th century "sword knife" (the item was tagged as such) is a very nice primitive and in good shape, and would look great displayed with your early American Forged iron items. Tip is worn - see photo, but no breaks or other damage ....Shows well. Size is approx. 22" total lenght, plus eye hook....... see photos for more details..........
