Up for auction is a T & V (Tressmann & Vogt) hand painted handled plate. The painting is daffodils and Narcissus. The floral design incorporates the striking colors of yellow and white flowers with green leaves. The background of the plate is white. The rim is green with heavy gold accenting. The plate has handles. The plate is 10 ¾ inches diameter at the handles. The plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or discoloration. The colors are vibrant. Please reference the photos for detail. This is an excellent example of T&V porcelain. The piece was manufactured by Tressmann & Vogt. Reference the marking on the bottom of plate. The mark is "T&V" in the rectangle with "FRANCE" below. The mark is dated 1892-1907 and termed "Mark 5a" according to The Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain , Third Edition, by Mary Frank Gaston. Note that this plate is over 100 years old!
