Antique Gebruder Bing Teddy Bear with long Nose and Hump Back. This very old German Teddy Bear dates from the early 1900s, around 1910 to 1920. This Scarce old and very Collectable Antique Bing German Teddy is just Stuffed Full of Character! He is very threadbare in many places and what little hair he has left is almost white, I think most probably he was originally one of the rarer white mohair Bears. He has been darned on his nose and the back of his head and is overall very very worn in places but at least he still has a bit of hair and a very gentle expression. This is an impressive and large Old Teddy Bear that measures approximately 22.5 inches tall. This very distinguished Old Bear has that Classic German Teddy Bear Profile made famous by Antique Steiff Teddy Bears with the typical very Long Nose and Pronounced Hump Back that is so rare and sought after these days by Antique Teddy Bear Collectors. It is completely filled with Wood Wool stuffing and has a Growler inside that still works occasionally. His joints are a little bit loose but secure. The bear has very old clear glass eyes that are painted on the backs. Which is correct for a bear of around his age. I am offering him for sale for less than half of what I paid for him around 10 years ago as I have to thin down my collection of old bears as we are moving home.
