Thomas Russell & Sons Silver Fusee Pocket Watch. Sterling silver case in good condition, hallmarked London ‘M’ in old English font for 1847 (I think.) The case does not look original to the movement as the hinge is different and there is a slight gap around the right hand side but still fits quite well and key winder matches up in the back. Hinged bezel and Back open and lock very well The original white enamel dial is in very good condition with hardly any chips or hairlines. Serial No. matches movement. No.73746. All 3 hands in very good condition. The movement, complete with dust cover, looks to be in good clean condition and runs and winds up well but can be temperamental. It sometimes will not run for long when moved or put in certain positions (A service may sort this out), but I have had it sat on worktop and run for hours, no problem. All items are from an old workshop/collection clearance. I have only basic knowledge on antique watches and have listed these items with as much info as I know and in good faith. I am happy to answer any questions so please insure that you have all the info you need before you bid. If there is any problems please contact me.
