DESCRIPTION:
This antique vest from Tibet is adorned with rare Tibetan Turquoise, Corals & Amber. This antique, early 20th century vest has extraordinary fine details and excellent workmanship. The Turquoise, Coral and Amber beads on this vest are extremely rare and unique antique pieces like this are hard to find in Tibet. The backside of the vest is decorated with seashells with a dome shaped silver ornament in the centre. The vest is made of cotton with a fine layer of silk surface, which is decorated with beads. The buttons on the front side of the vest are made of black ceramic beads. The vest is a small women's size and weighs over 3 kilograms.
