Collectors of antique and vintage Tiffany & Co. baby items, this is as fine a baby rattle as you will find anyw It is one of the company's legendary early nursery rhyme series from the very early 1900's, and features two different scenes from "The Three Pigs" children's story. On one side of the paddle, t is an engraved pig riding a horse with the words "This Big Pig Went To Market", while on the other side an egraved pig is sitting in a chair reading a book with the words "This Little Pig Stayed At Home". The rattle is clearly marked "Tiffany & Co." and "Sterling" at the blow hole on the handle, and the whistle still works. In addition, the bells are still t, a rarity for rattles of this age. This beauty measures over 4.75" long and is 3.25" wide at the paddle, counting the bells. It is in superb condition, with no appreciable dings, scratchs, or other marks that would detract from its condition or value.
