Antique Tiffany Silver Ladle Japanese Pattern

Rare and very collectible, Tiffany's Japanese Pattern was created in 1871. On the handle is a delicately patterned ground decorated further with a humming bird amidst lovely long and sinouous stemmed flowers. The underside of the ladle handle is decorated with floral and foliate motifs surrounding an area of a monogram. The ladle measures 12 1/2" in length and boasts the rare and more desirable rectangular bowl. The bowl has a pie crust rim. Absolutely pristine condition! The only evidence of age is two minor dents in the bowl. A great addition to any collection. This ladle is part of a collection that has been in my family for over a century. Marks on the back of the stem: Tiffany & Co. Pat. 1871.
