DESCRIPTION MLN 8025 / Antique Tiger Oak Art Deco Desk / Secretary / Bookcase ~ 's a grand side by side art deco-inspired tiger oak desk, a raving beauty with the most luscious details. It has a superb curvy paned doors over the adjustable bookcase sides. The top is accented with a dentil trim which echoes the straight lines of the piece. It's the curves we love, though, the curviness of the arched top, those curved bookcase sides, the curvy applied carving and the grand and elegant sweeping curves of the hardware on the cupboard below. The juxtaposition of all of this curving loveliness with the straight cabinet makes this a striking treat for the eyes. The construction of this piece, too, makes it a treat: it's a well made piece of British cabinetry dating from the late '30s or so. It's marvelous in tiger oak with a fully fitted interior and a nicely sized drop-down desk top. This piece is magnificent. It is in grand condition with no flaws or concerns at all. Ready for use, ready to enjoy for years and years. Exceptional. SIZE: 48.25 inches wide, 14 inches deep, 44.5 inches tall SHIPPING: This striking old beauty will ship terminal to terminal via GPX, a service of Greyhound Bus Lines, for $119.50.
