Antique Tin Push-Up Candlesticks Old Paint Rare Search RARE ANTIQUE TIN DOUBLE PUSH-UP CANDLESTICKS CANDLESTICKS/OLD PAINT I spotted this at a recent estate sale and just couldn't resist.! This antique candlestick holder is truly unique. One of a kind! The candleholder cups look like big sunflowers.(This holder had already been sold but while packing I broke off one of the petals -this does not detract from the look of the piece and could probably be soldered.- will add pix to listing) . This antique double candlestick holder is made of tin and has what is left of the original paint - both brown and mustard color paint. The candleholder is handcrafted of tin , all pieces are soldered and it looks to be totally handmade. (The way it was made to raise or lower the candles is something I have never seen - -the little handle slides up and down into the cutout slots). This is truly a one of a kind rare piece of primitive folk art and a real conversation piece! Would be a wonderful addition to your decor or candlestick collection. The candleholder measures 11-1/2" high x 9-3/4" wide and weighs approximately 3-4 lbs. Thanks for looking - any questions please ask prior to bidding.
