is a great antique tin lamp.It is in excellant condition with normal age wear to the tin as can be seen in the photo's. The door opens easy and the latch fits nice and tight. The lens is a great piece of old bullseye glass and fits tight with no movement. I believe this to be a signal light as the small knob near the base slides a piece of tin from inside the lamp to cover the flame.The two wire handles can be folded flat to the lamp body. The two wick oil canister lifts out from the lamp. I have not tried to pull the wick off the top.The lamp stands 5 1/4" tall and the base is 3 1/4" wide. This wonderful lamp would make a great addition to any lamp collection. Good luck on your bidding.
