ANTIQUE TOLE SPICE BIN WITH POLYCHROME DECORATION This wonderful tole spice bin would make a beautiful decorative accent to any room in one's house. The piece was originally used in a country store to dispense bulk spices to customers. The piece has a gilt and polychrome decoration on a creme ground. The roll-back lid has a turned wood handle. The front is inscribed "PUE SPICES" and is decorated with a central reserve of children in period dress at play. The piece dates to the late 19th-early 20th century and measures 9-1/2"w x 7"d x 11"h. The piece has scratches, losses and dents commensurate with its age and use. While these losses, etc. would be viewed by many as adding to the piece's charm, they could also be easily restored. TERMS & CONDITIONS PAYMENT : We prefer payment via PayPal, but also accept payment by check or money order drawn on a US bank. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: PayPal is the only method of payment accepted. Payment must be received with 5 days of the end of the listing. If you cannot make payment within that period, please do NOT bid. We, however, recognize that unexpected circumstances can arise in one's life which may prevent you from making payment withing that time. If such circumstances arise, please notify us as soon as possible (but no later than 5 days from the end of the listing) and we will attempt to accommodate your circumstances. Failure to make timely payment or to obtain an accommodation from us for unexpected circumstances within five days of the item's closing will result in negative feedback. SHIPPING : All items are shipped USPS Priority Mail unless otherwise requested. We endeavor to ship all items within 48 hours of receipt of payment. W payment is made by a check, we retain the option of holding the item for seven (7) days after receipt of payment to allow the check to clear. INSURANCE : In most cases, insurance is offered, but optional. If the buyer does not choose to insure the item, he/she takes full responsibility for any loss or damage during transit occuring for whatever reason. In rare cases involving extremely fragile items, insurance is mandatory. RETURNS & REFUNDS : We want your EBay experience to be pleasurable and satisfying. If for any reason you are unhappy with you purchase, please contact us first and we endeavor to resolve the problem. In general, howeverf, all sales are final and we do not accept returns or give refunds unless the item is not as described. In that event, then item may be returned and a full refund made IF returned within 5 days of receipt AND in the same condition as when it was originally sent.
