THIS IS A BLACKSMITH'S SHEAR FOR SHEARING THE BANDS FOR WAGON WHEELS, AND ANY OTHER METAL. I PURCHASED THIS FROM THE ESTATE OF A FRIEND OF MINE WHO DIED IN 1966. HE TOLD ME HE SERVED HIS APPRENTICESHIP IN A BLACKSMITH SHOP IN OKLA IN THE LATE 1800'S. THIS SHEAR WAS IN THE SHOP WHEN HE WORKED T HE PURCHASED THIS SHEAR IN 1955 WHEN THE SHOP CLOSED. IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. IT CUTS VERY WELL. IT HAS A 6 FOOT HANDLE. IT IS MARKED WITH RAISED LETTERING, EDWARDS SHEAR NO. 10B ON ONE SIDE. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS YOU CAN CALL ME AT .
