Gorgeous antique transferware/transfer ware soup bowl with landscape scene and border with moorish type floral designs and buildings. Absolutely incredible bowl made by John Alcock with "Vincennes" written in an elaborate circle and "Cobrid..." inside the circle. T is also an embossed E in the ceramic. T is crazing inside the bowl and t is some discoloration (I understand this discoloration can be removed safely). On the base t are two chips on the very edge that sits on a flat surface (see photo). Incredibly, this very old bowl is in fabulous condition. T are no chips or cracks on the edge of the bowl or damage to the inside. 9 1/2" in diameter--maybe a serving bowl?--1" deep on the inside and 1 1/2" from the table top to the edge of the rim. Shipping is calculated using eBay's shipping calculator based on package weight and destination. We calculate domestic shipments at first class priority rates and international first class for international shipments (as long as the size and weight doesn't exceed parameters set forth by the USPS). We do double box all fragile items to protect them in shipment. This does add somewhat to the package weight, but we do want you to receive your new treasure(s) in one piece--as opposed to several pieces. We will ship however the winning bidder prefers, if possible. Be sure to check out our eBay store read more
