Antique Trippensee planetarium, fair condition would be good for restoring. All gears do move freely. The wooden arm measures 17" long, and the height of this planetarium is 13 1/2". Total length is 20". The 7 1/2" base is a heavy scalloped brass & the sun (18" around) is also brass. I haven't cleaned this at all, so the brass has a fairly even color of tarnish or "patina", and the whole planetarium has a random speckling of white paint spots. The earth is coming apart. The date on the tag says July 21, 1908. See other auctions for more antique items.
