****This is a re-list of a recent auction that had to be canceled because the winning bidder was outside the US. I now have my settings set for US lower 48 state sale and shipment only but just in case... THIS AUCTION IS FOR CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES RESIDENTS ONLYNO FOREIGN, ALASKA, HAWAII BIDDING Turkish Shashka Sword I acquired this sword from my father who in 1975 bought it from a Turk who was using it to stir paint in the bazaar in Adana, Turkey. It has a crescent moon and star on the blade near the handle and the Arabic numerals for "377" on the top of the guard.Other than the weathered blade, the only significant damage to the sword is to the pommel as the multi-tasking Turk also used it as a hammer.
