THIS ITEM: twisted ornamental iron industrial work stool, bench, probably around 1920, with a really sweet and fun look to it, very light rusting to the metal adding great texture and oxidized deep color and natural patina. This probably was used in a store or factory, for a worker to sit on, like in front of a sew machine or printer's machinery, etc. T are some marks underside of the seat, but we were unable to decipher. Interesting piece. Love the seat! With these big button rivets around the sides, w the legs are joined, and the original dark green lenoleum, which has crackled with age. It's got so much character, so industrial rustic-chic! This one has tons of decorator potential, nuff-said . Study the pics! RETAIL: $150 OUR PRICE: $45 Check out my other items ! ABOUT CONDITION OF USED FURNITURE: This piece displays old/original paint, and is being sold as-found. As with most vintage furniture of this type, it does have your typical minor blemishes that come with age and usage. The wood is generally well-cared for, excellent condition, but not perfect. Please keep in mind that this is USED furniture, it is old, and this should be expected. It is part of the item's patina and history. T are no major defects to the wood, and it does not need any structural repair. The overall wear is typical for the piece and does not detract from its useful qualities, either functional or visual. It is sturdy and ready for use, structurally intact. Needs no other repair or preparation prior to use and display. ITEM-SPECIFIC CONDITION REMARKS: slight lean to one side, appears to have aged this way?? Stable & sturdy, does not effect structure; forgivable for the rustic look.
