Framed under glass in this very old lacy wood and gesso frame is a very SPECIAL 14" x 11" photo print of two little girls all dressed for Sunday church with bows in their hair...just as they actually posed for the photographer around the turn of the century.... and each showing off their adorable little victorian dolls! This special photo print is NOT just a photocopy enlargment of an old photo as many photo prints on ebay are.This is of exceptional quality because it was created by a very talanted professional photographer from one of the few remaining large glass negatives of a early 20th century professional Georgia photographer, Cicero C. Simmons (1857-1839). I will personally guarantee that the photo quality of this photo print is better than most actual photos from the same period are! I have included a detailed information sheet that is all about this photo print, the original photographer,Cicero C. Simmons and the professional photographer who has recreated these from his glass negatives. (See pics...and enlarge..I hope you can read it!!) Antique frame is in good condition with painted silver and antique silver gilt ornate gesso details . This wood and gesso frame is solid and most gesso is intact even though it is a very old frame with ORIGINAL OLD WAVY GLASS AND ORIGINAL WOOD BACKING. (Note: Sometimes these old frames have a musty smell...I NEVER SELL musty frames and this one HAS NO ODOR.) Frame measures 18" x 15" outside and 14" x 11" inside.
