ANTIQUE TYPEWRITER STAND WOOD AND WROUGHT IRON Description : This typing stand has a wood top with a hinged swing shelf and wrought iron legs. I purchased it about fifteen years ago at an antique shop in Prescott AZ, and do not know the age of it, but it looks quite old. It is about 25" high x 18" deep x 21-1/2" wide with the shelf down, and 32-1/2" wide with the shelf up. It is a unique and rare item. Condition : This stand is in good condition, but has some flaws. The wrought iron has numerous chips and dings, and the wood top appears to have been repaired in one area. The shelf interior has been patched along a crack with what appears to be wood filler, and on the underside the shelf has been reinforced with newer wood pieces which are not visible unless you turn it over. In my opinion, these flaws all add to the aged appearance and character of this piece. It is being sold "as is". Please be sure to check out all the attached supersized pictures.
