NO. 498 MOD 1 Date 7-16-43 On one of the goose necks is a nausal with a mark that has U S with an anchor in-between.T is a 4 prong valve with the markings that look like, PAT. No. 1967792, B t E INCOn the helmet is a rectangle bar with screw holes for a zinc anode.The glass is sealed with a pinkish orange hard puttyYou can tell by small dents and marks that it was well used.The helmet was inherited from a father who was in the Navy in the Philipines.If you have any quetions or wish us to check for additional markings please email me with your request.
