This is a real unusual "WOODEN SHAFTED" Driver. It has the Rigden Patent style wooden dowels on the face and the Bulls-Eye Fancy aspect overlaid atop the dowels. The backweight is I believe aluminum, and if you look closely it could be lead atop the aluminum. For selling purposes to be sure it is described correctly consider the lines on the backweight to be hairline cracks and bid accordingly. If you look at my feedback you'll see that I do not give false descriptions. OK here goes.... There is no makers name on the top of the head, it is. 43"s long, grip seems original and is in pretty good shape. Minor St. Andrews bend to the shaft. The club has a lot going for it. It has 2 different types of metal on the sole plate, complimented by the backweight. Face has large wooden dowels (Rigden Like) on the sides of the Face Plate and the center dowel showing through the Bulls Eye. This club was complex to make. Not sure if the Reg. # being so low means it was experimental.Always thought one day I would gain the skill-set to be able to re-finish this club, but never got around to learning it. Please if you win it and are going to refinish it take some pictures and let me see her done. . Any questions gladly answered.
