Item is being relisted as previous buyer did not understand that I will not ship. They did not arrange pick-up so it is up for sale again. I can not ship this item - pick-up only.Up for sale is an old antique vanity dresser that measures 48"w x 28" tall x 21" deep. Overall heigth is 66" to top of mirror. The only markings showing the manufaturer is the name Bassett and the number 710 written in cursive on the back of the mirror. The overall condition is very good for the age. T are a few flaws in the piece: the top surface has two areas of water spots (see photo) that are not very noticable but t is some roughness to the wood in those two areas; t is a small area (maybe 1/4" square) on the left bottom side panel w the wood vaneer has chipped; and t are a couple of black spots in the mirror glass. Unit is constructed of solid wood and wood veneers. I'm not sure but I think the wood is mahogany (at least the exposed surfaces). The mirror detaches from tha main unit. T is a lot of ornate carvings on the trim. The drawers are solid wood made with dovetail construction (front and back) and have wood glides. I purchased this in an estate sale around 28 years ago and I'm not sure of the age but it was old when I bought it. So ... I'm guessing it was made in the early 1900's. That's all I can think of so hopefully this will find a good home. I will not ship so pick-up only please. Good luck.
