Antique Velvet/Brocade Patchwork Quilt - 1927 Beautiful vintage handstitched velvet patchwork quilt is stitched with âe~1927âe(tm). Velvet/brocade rectangle blocks in subdued colors of brown, tan, rose and blue. Beige zigzag stitches around the blocks. Knots of black yarn tied at corners of the blocks âe" some are missing. Backed with beige, blue and pink plaid cotton fabric. Measures appx. 64âe x 74âe. Good condition for its age - some pieces need restitching, t is a small hole in the backing and several stains/age spots. Batting has shifted and is uneven in places and it does have a very light musty odor. Still a wonderful example of antique handiwork. THANKS FOR STOPPING BY AND HAPPY BIDDING!
