We are delighted to offer you this exquisite, antique 10 karat solid rose gold, garnets and seed pearls ring, from the Victorian era!! We obtained this lovely ring along with a very similar one, which just sold tonight. They are by the same maker, are the same size , have a similar style, and came from the same estate. This treasure is in very fine condition, and is currently a size 6 - 6/12, and could be sized up or down at least 2 whole sizes, by any competent jeweler! It weighs a respectable 2.6 grams, and is hallmarked with an 'A ' inside a rectangular cartouche. The '10k' has faded, but the ring has been jeweler tested and is fully guaranteed to be at least 10 karat gold. The top w the stones are set measures 1/2" north-to-south, and 3/8" across... The ornately carved shanks feature deep carved open design, accented by fine beading and bar accents. . They taper from 5 mm to 2 mm in back, and the band is not worn thin at all! The gemstones are 4 nice old rose cut garnets individually prong set down the center, at a diagonal angle. On either side of the garnets is a row of 4 wee lustrous seed pearls, for a total of 8. Each one is secured in its own setting, and none of the 12 gems have any damage! The 2 innermost garnets are a bit rosier in hue than the 2 outer ones, which are more of a deep wine color. The throne holding the stones is quite substantial, made with lots of gold. The wee little open back settings allow for maximum light transference, too... and this beautiful antique Victorian ring is in very fine condition!
