Superb late 1800's Victorian era scrap book purchased from a local estate on 11/22/08. This 10" by 12 1/2" leather bound book features 48 single sided pages of glued in trade cards, die cuts, Easter and Christmas cards and other assorted ephemera. T are 150 +/- bona fide trade cards. Most of the cards are sewing related such as J & P Coats, J S Kirk, Curtis Davis & Co, Willimantic Thread, and Leader Sewing Machine Co. This scrap book is in fair condition with yellowing, foxing and brittling of the pages as well as wear to the cover and spine. The binding is still fairly tight and all of the pages are attached. The vast majority of the cards are in very good condition but a couple have dog ears and minor loss. I have included twelve pictures of what I felt were the most interesting pages. The whole book is thoughtfully arranged with quality ephemera. Offered without reserve. Buyer pays USPS Priority or USPS Media Mail shipping ( 4 1/2 pounds packaged weight). Check, money order or paypal accepted. Feel free to email any questions or requests.
