Estate item new to market. Recently found packaged away, while cleaning out an old 19th century New York restaurant. Building was quite run down, actually falling down, but the inside looked just like someone walked away last week. Items were just were they were left, or w you would expect them to be. I purchased a pair of these Great bell shaped food bells and decided to list just this one for the time being, we'll see how it does. I do not know the maker, but do know these w used to cover sugars and syrups. Free Blown Amberina optic swirL food Bell measures 9 and 3/16" tall and 5 and 7/8 inches across the ground bottom edge. Nice deep rubY color on both the large top knob and again along the ground bottom, with a redish amber color thru the center. This is thick glass with an Optic Swirl pattern that can be felt on the inside of glass, and is pictured for you. Glass has a large straw mark and small bubbles thruout, as is common on 19th century glass. No damage no repairs. Some bottom wear along ground bottom edge as you might expect.
