**please note that this is a 10 day auction, ending on April 7th. If you pay with Paypal, I can have your purchase shipped out before I go on vacation on April 12th. If you opt to pay with a Money Order or personal check, I will ship it on April 22nd, when I return*** Offered for auction is one of a pair of antique ewers I have listed this week. Neither are marked as to the maker. The auctioneer mentioned Webb and Mt. Washington but I haven't been able to confirm that ID. Both are listed separately. I've shown a picture of both together so you can see they are a pair. The back of each is plain with no decoration. I've taken pictures with both a dark background and a light background to give you a better idea of the color. This piece is handblown....custard glass cased with camphor glass which which has a slightly pale green cast and glows under my blacklight....handpainted with raised dots of gold accenting a pansy and small burgandy flowers. The top is pulled in a Jack-in-the-Pulpit style. It has a rough, snapped off pontil (unpolished) and an applied handle (on the left hand side), which has a very sharp point on the tip (indicating it was well cared for and not overly handled, I'd say). It measures 9 1/2" tall and is in excellent condition....no chips or cracks....very minor wear to the enameling. I will always combine shipping whenever possible. The calculator is set up for the cost to ship one ewer. If you bid and win both of these ewers, I will ship them for free, Priority, US addresses only please. If you bid and win this auction, Paypal is my preferred method of payment and will enable you to receive your purchase quickly. I will also gladly accept your money order or personal check (7 days to clear check). thanks for looking.... GPSA MemberGlass & Pottery Sellers' Association
