You are bidding on an American made brass & cut glass inkwell from the Victorian era. The base is crimped and beaded brass 3-5/8" in diameter and is marked "Wm Sch. & Co. Hoboken, NJ". The cut glass ink pot is 1-1/2" square and has ornately decorated brass shoulders. It has a hinged brass lid. The piece stands 2-1/2" high overall and, with the exception of some minor weaknesses at the solder points, is in very good condition.
