ANTIQUE VICTORIAN BRASS DINNER GONG Description A good Victorian solid brass dinner gong. The stand with a design of inter-twined ivy. Retaining much of it's original lacquer. With original beater - makes a good sound. Dates circa 1880-1910. In good condition for age and use, some darkening to the lacquer finish, could be cleaned/burnished to a bright finish if desired. The chamois leather beater with some wear - see photos. Diameter of gong approx 5.7/8in (15cm) and height of stand 11.1/2in (29.2cm ), widest point of stand 8.3/4in (22.3cm). SELLING WITHOUT RESERVE.
