You are bidding on a gorgeous Victorian celluloid photo album featuring a gorgeous Asti lady portrait in the middle. On either side of her are two young blonde children playing musical instruments. These three figures sit on a magnificent background of flowers and bluebirds. The colors are just beautiful and would be beautiful displayed. This album measures a very large 11 inches tall and 14 inches wide. The top and sides of the album is celluloid. The album pages are unfortunately completely seperated from the spine, but appear to all still be present. The clasp is missing, but the two brass plates are still present. The music box portion of this album is in good condition. The music box still plays beautifully when it is turned. According to the bottom of the album, this box plays two different songs, but I've only ever heard one. I'm sure t is a way to make the song change, but I've never figured it out. The top celluloid is in good condition. T is a very tiny part that appears to be cracking, but is not visible at all. The only way to tell is to rub your fingers across it. The section is less than an inch. The celluloid is complete, with no pieces missing. This album is a beautiful example of antique photo albums and would be gorgeous displayed in a collection!
