2 Antique Victorian Corbels Wood and Plaster c 1800s
This is one lot of two small corbels dating, I would guess, to the 1800s. They are mostly wood with the decorative acanthus leaf and two small round medallions on either side made of plaster. Measuring from the back, they are 2 11/16 inches wide, 3 1/2 inches long and extend out 2 3/8 inches. The top edge of each is routed out on the backside so that the corbel can fit tight against a small strip of molding. They are in good solid as-found condition with plaster chips on both and both in need of cleaning. Two antique corbels for your architectural collection.
