Up for Auction... This is a stunning 5 flute CRANBERRY GLASS EPERGNE We have a low starting bid of $39.99 and NO RESERVE!! This is NOT a reproduction, it is the real deal. This item is from a friends' grandmother's estate. She was the original owner of this piece. It stands an impressive 22 inches tall when assembled. The Round Ruffled bowl has 12 "ruffles" and is 9 1/2" in diameter and stands 8" from the tallest point, which is the hardware that the five horns or flutes attach to. T are 9 feet on the base of the bowl. All of the hardware is original also. The tallest flute is in the center and it is 16" tall. It has an opening of 4" and is the shape of a flower. Two of the horns are curved and they are 9 1/2" tall and have a 4" opening. They are not designed to be flowers, just ruffled edges. The other two horns are straight and are flowers in design like the center one, and they are 11 3/4" long with a 4 1/2" opening. All of the flower flutes have 5 petals on them. This epergne is an original VICTORIAN GLASS CENTERPIECE! T is decorative rigaree on the flutes that is in clear glass. This piece is damaged somewhat, but considering its age, it is in remarkable condition for such a delicate piece. The pieces that have broken off are shown in the last photo. I have been told that it can be repaired by a professional and made to look even better. The tallest flute has one of the petals broken off and one of the straight flutes has one of the petals broken off. I have tried to show both of these two flaws in the photos. Also, one of the nine feet one the base has been broken. Even with the above mentioned flaws, this piece is worth the starting bid if nothing more than to use it for pieces to go with another epergne.
