Greetings, For your consideration: Stunning, Antique Victorian Red Ruby Ring, 10k Yellow Rose Gold, Vibrant 1 Carat Red Ruby is 6 prong set, in highly sought after "Crown" setting, high quality & design, Master Jeweler craftmanship are evident of this antique Ladies Ring. Amazing detail, top sides of ring are finely detailed feathers. Genuine miners cut Ruby sit in rose gold crown that is detailed and shows master jeweler quality craftmanship, please take a moment to see the quality shown in the pictures, and then take into consideration, that these pictures do not bring out the full vibrant color and degree of facets in the european miners cut of this genuine 1 full carat ruby, vibrant Red to deep pink,flawless, no damage at all, no chips, no scratches, no wear, (i feel confident in stating) original to the setting. I am unsure if this was a jewelers sample (being a size 5...i suspect it was) This is one of the original inventory pieces of my grandfathers Watch & Jewelry Store c.1921 (Please take a moment to look at my past auctions, to see some of the items that were also part of inventory) in the next few weeks i will be listing some of the original pieces that have been part of my personal favorites, these were Jeweler & Watchmaker salesman sample, these usually had more articulate & precise detail to the piece for the purpose of getting the customer to order, also as in most salesman sample/jewelry the rings were made a size 5. This being noted, some/most of the pieces from the Victorian & Art Deco Era were considered one of a kind... similar, but not mass produced, like we have of the reproduced jewelry of today. Please also know, in absolutely no way is it my intent to deceive anyone, the business reputation of myself and my deceased husband Harry and keeping his memory alive and our business dreams alive: Flying Eagle Coin is way to important to me, than to try to deceive someone and sell something for a couple bucks, this is not and never has been the way we do business. *Due to the cost involved,* and the quantity of items i have to offer for sale, i have not had these items appraised in todays market,* again, the cost involved* the ruby in this ring has not been "tested" by todays standard, but knowing w these have been & the history of the items, i feel confident in each claim made, i am not a professional gemologist, I encourage everyone when buying antique or any jewelry thru an auction, to have the item checked by your local jeweler (your expense) i would much rather "downplay" an item and hope the looker of the auction can enlarge pictures, to see/decide for themselves, to judge the item and to e-mail any questions. Please check my feedback, Powerseller, selling: Coins, Antique & Vintage Jewelry on eBay since 1999, most comments received involve...the word...Wow!! being pleasantly surprised, nicer than pictured or stated in auction description. I also pride the fact of repeat customers, and the e-mails (not just feedback) i receive after my customer has received their item, i save these special letters to remind me the joy of having a "Mom & Pop" store, since closing the storefront, security being the issue as a widow & grandma in the coin & jewelry business, safety issues are less since selling on eBay. Most important, if for any reason you are not happy with any of my items, i will issue a full refund.
